We love this beautiful small downtown Charleston wedding. Kelli and Jesse are so deeply connected and nothing made more sense to them than keeping their wedding simple, intimate, and all about them, their family, and a few select friends. This day started with them getting ready and doing their first glance in a really great house on the Isle of Palms. Then the ceremony took place at a Gazebo downtown at the very end of the peninsula in a park called white point gardens. After that we did a few group/family pictures and then they wanted to walk around and get some pictures of just them for about an hour until they catch back up with their family for food and cocktails. I found this wonderful little gardened area off the beaten path where we did a bunch of the pix and then we continued to use more of the the city’s amazing historical areas filled with brick streets, weathered walls, and textured architecture as backdrops for the rest of their portraits. They certainly had a very charming, very Charleston, very full of love day.
